SHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General

These Shop Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through our website, including trophies, certificates (including additional or replacement certificates), and other award-related items. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms, in addition to our Competition Terms and Conditions, which form part of the overall agreement.

Orders

All orders must be placed through the website. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion. Orders are considered accepted only once payment has been received in full.

Eligibility to Purchase
Only finalists and award recipients of The British Hair & Beauty Awards are eligible to purchase trophies, certificates, or award-related materials.

Business Details & Order Identification (IMPORTANT)

When placing an order, you must use the exact same business name as used in your original application and enrolment for the Competition.

To ensure your order can be correctly identified and allocated, you are responsible for providing full and accurate details, including (where applicable):

  • Business name (as submitted in the Competition application)

  • Award category

  • Award level (Gold, Silver or Bronze)

  • Region

  • Any other relevant award or entry information

If incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent information is provided, we may be unable to process or allocate your order. We accept no liability for delays, errors, or non-fulfilment arising from insufficient or inaccurate details supplied at checkout or via order notes.

Orders placed without adequate identifying information may be delayed while clarification is requested. Where clarification is not provided, the order may not be fulfilled.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are stated in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment must be made at the time of purchase. We accept payment methods as displayed on our website. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time; however, price changes will not affect orders already placed and paid for.

Certificates

Certificates supplied through the shop include additional, replacement, or posted certificates.

All certificates are produced specifically for the customer and are therefore non-refundable, except where faulty or damaged on arrival.

Trophy Engraving

All trophies are engraved using the details supplied by you at the time of ordering. Please check all spelling, business names, categories, and award details carefully before submitting your order.

We accept no liability for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you. Once engraving has been completed, no changes can be made and no refunds will be issued for errors caused by customer-supplied details.

Dispatch, Delivery and Risk

Orders are dispatched to the delivery address provided at checkout. Please ensure this is a secure address that you will continue to have access to.

If you move or request an address change after placing an order, you must notify us immediately. While we may acknowledge updated address details by email, this does not guarantee that your order will be dispatched to the amended address. Our fulfilment process operates strictly from the address details provided at checkout.

We cannot accept liability for orders delivered to the original address supplied at checkout if you have since moved or requested a change.

Risk in the goods passes to you once delivery has been made to the address provided at checkout.

Third-Party Orders

If an order is placed on your behalf by a third party, it remains your responsibility to ensure that the correct business and delivery details are provided. We accept no responsibility for delays, loss, or errors arising from incorrect or outdated information.

Returns and Refunds

As many items sold through our shop are personalised or made to order, returns and refunds are not accepted unless the product is faulty or damaged upon arrival.

Any issues must be reported within 7 working days of receipt and must include photographic evidence. Refunds or replacements will be issued at our discretion.

Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with any order. Our total liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the total value of the goods purchased.

Governing Law

These Shop Terms and Conditions, together with our Competition Terms and Conditions, are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
